I have many years’ experience working with different businesses and all sizes of organisations, often at different stages of their business life cycle. That means I’m able to effectively tackle a pretty broad range of issues. In summary:

Organisation Direction

Vision, mission and strategic planning

Market intelligence and sales growth exploitation

Customer Relationship Management

Culture, values and key measures

Facilitate, encourage and offer up creative ideas

Operational Excellence

Lean training and implementation of key success factors

Employee Engagement

Mentoring and coaching for personal and team development

If you’re not sure you fit into any of these categories, do feel free to get in touch. If you need a bit of support with your business, I’m sure I can help.

Day 1

Evaluation of current business state

I need to know where your business currently stands to be able to identify opportunities for growth. During Day 1, I’d like to speak to people from all areas of the business to understand company culture, performance and perceived direction:

  • Short group problem solving exercise to identify and share success factors
  • Individual interviews to get a feel for the business and the employees
  • Feedback session with management.

Day 2

Delivering a plan

Day 2 is about figuring out where you should be going and how you’re going to get there. It’s more about me supporting management to agree a way forward:

  • SWOT analysis to identify your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
  • PESTLE analysis to identify external factors influencing your business.

These tools will help us identify opportunities and agree the way forward.

Depending on the outcome of these two sessions, my recommendations will vary. I might suggest staff coaching, more in-depth strategic planning, improvement plans, growth plans…

I’ll almost certainly recommend setting some key performance indicators (KPIs) which will help you measure performance and see real business improvements.

The main thing is that whatever I recommend, it will be achievable. It will be practical. And it won’t be a waste of your time.

Following this initial assessment and recommendations, I can work with your business on an ongoing basis as often and for as long as necessary to help deliver real results.

I am results driven and committed to offering value for money. I therefore charge a fixed daily rate which is fully inclusive of mileage and expenses. This approach is simple and effective for clients to budget the continuous improvement and growth benefits.

Following the initial two day quick scan, you have the option to consider the recommendations. Together we can agree the scope and formalise a realistic plan with key deliverables.

I’m based in East Anglia and support many businesses in Norfolk and the surrounding area. However, I have clients across the UK, Europe and Far East so I am very flexible on travel.

If you’re a small business owner, there’s one more area I can help you with. Flexible resourcing is about having the right people in the right place at the right time within your business, without the commitment of employing permanent staff.

I have connections with some fantastic people who specialise in short-term, part-time or flexible working. Once I understand the skills you need within your organisation, I can match you with the right person to help. Having support from the right person can really add value to your business by developing your processes, improving efficiency, or simply getting a few admin tasks out of the way. This frees up your time to focus on the growth of your business.

I don’t pretend to be a recruitment consultant. But I can help identify where you need help in the short-term and I’m sure to know the right person to send your way!
